The Shameless Hypocrisy of the CPP-NPA-NDF Re: Killings
While I understand the condemnation of unabated killings by some abusive policemen that may
have a negative impact on the Government's campaign against illegal drugs as well as by some
wayward soldiers on some people by the CPP-NPA-NDF, let me today in this short blog say that they
are hypocrites! Yes they are hypocrites for they are doing also killings especially in their rebellion
against the Government!
They are killing soldiers in the countryside even if they are not on active duty like for example vacationing. They are killing the people in the countryside who would not bite to their biding. They are killing people via
ambuscades until now. They have also killed some people who were former members of their organization who left them to change their life like Mr. Romulo Kintanar on 2003. They have also killed their fellow Left activitists who left them to be with the Democratic Left such as Akbayan like peasant leader Raymundo Tejeno, municipal officer Florente Ocmen and Donie Valencia, organizer of the Marxist-Leninist Party of the Philippines also on 2003.
Who would not forget the purges done by the CPP-NPA-NDF on the 1980's on some of its members it is suspecting of serving as deep penetration agents of the Government due to paranoia? And who would not forget the brutal killing of union leader Popoy Lagman, a former CPP-NPA-NDF by the CPP-NPA-NDF also on 2001?
As I researched, I understand the leadership of the CPP-NPA-NDF have instituted the policy of assassination after the Great Schism which divided the Communists into two camps: The reaffirmists who subscribes to the principles made by CPP-NPA-NDF Supremo Joma Sison and the rejectionists who do not subscribe to such principle.
And people, we are still recalling of the killing of the CPP-NPA-NDF of Fr. Conrado Balweg, a leader of the Cordilleran autonomists who was also their former member on 2000. Also on 2003, the CPP-NPA-NDF killed peasant leader Raymundo "Teteng" Temeno and Akbayan officer Florente "Boy" Ocmen on in that year too.
The CPP-NPA-NDF also done the biggest purge of them all, the Cadena de Amor in Luzon, the Oplan Zombie for Bicol Region, Oplan Olympia for Visayas, Oplan Missing Link in Northeastern Mindanao as well as Oplan Takip Silim wherein they also use torture as methods of killings?! These Oplans if combined, were the biggest series of unabated killings made by the CPP-NPA-NDF during the Marcos dictatorship! It is indeed lawless violence abound!
And they also killed some people in the 1971 Plaza Miranda bombing of the senatorial candidates of the Liberal Party that was falsely blamed on then President Ferdinand Marcos, Sr., and the bombing was part of its rebellion that prompted him to declare Martial Law on 1972 even if years later, Martial Law became abusive.
My simple point here is that the CPP-NPA-NDF have also share of blood. That they should look at themselves first before they condemn killings of other entities. And yet they are continuing to do this until now. As for me, they qualified to be charged for crimes against humanity before the International Criminal Court or ICC since they have committed so many cases of murders for years. I am sure, the Government can compile pieces of evidence against them as well as to gather witnesses against them before the ICC if the Government wants to submit a communication urging it through the Office of the Prosecutor to charge them with crimes against humanity as well as war crime since they are doing such crime in their longest rebellion against the Government. For sure, the leaders of the CPP-NPA-NDF will be tried before the ICC and I am confident they will be convicted.
In fact, many people, myself included are angry at their killings, plus in their being insincere in peace talks with previous administrations, including the current administration. I have researched many killings made by the CPP-NPA-NDF but I will not include them anymore in this blog since they are too many and I cannot, in my conscience, place them on record and when I read each of them, I would like to vommit!
